West Art is excited to offer Wellness Wednesday- a great to chance to move your body, clear your mind, spend time with friends, and maybe even make a couple of new ones along the way! We are so glad to offer three fantastic Wednesday offerings, each led by community members that are experienced leaders and passionate about their craft. No experience is needed for these classes, and they’re open to all levels. Come join us- we’ve got a spot for you.

5:30pm- Community Yoga

Join Lija on Wednesday evenings at 5:30pm at West Art Community Center for Community Yoga! Designed to both invigorate and restore, this intentional vinyasa flow connects breath and movement, mind and body. Via a flowing sequence of poses, this class is built for practitioners of all levels - from beginners to seasoned yogis. Throughout the class, modifications and variations will be offered, empowering you to honor your body's unique needs and capabilities. Whether you're seeking a challenge or a moment of relaxation, you'll find space to explore and deepen your practice at your own pace. Come as you are, leave feeling refreshed, rejuvenated, and centered. Join us on the mat for a nourishing and vinyasa flow experience Wednesdays at 5:30pm! If you’ve got a yoga mat, bring it with you- if not we’ve got some extras! This class is pay-what-you-can donation ($10-15 suggested, cash or Venmo).

6:45 pm- Jazz Dance

On Wednesdays We Jazz! Join Hana for lessons in solo jazz dance. Build confidence in your solo movement and learn how to get comfortable moving in your own body. All levels are welcome- so whether you’re experienced or a curious beginner come join us! This class is $15, and you’re welcome to pre-register at https://www.jazzcollectivelanc.com/classes/p/group-dance-class And drop-ins are always welcome, of course! Cash or Venmo.

8:00 pm- Kickboxing 101 (non-contact)

Come learn the basis skills and sharpen your moves with world champion Joshua Buitrago. Engage in calisthenic and plyometric workouts that build a foundation for basic kick boxing skills. Learn kicking, punching, and ring fundamentals in a non contact environment. No prior experience or equipment is required. This class is pay-what-you-can donation ($10-15 suggested, cash or Venmo).
